How quickly did each electricity source scale up?

Global electricity generation by source, in terawatt-hours. The horizontal axis shows years since each source first produced at least 100 TWh, and the vertical axis shows generation in each of those years. For example, it took almost 50 years for hydropower to grow from 100 to 1,500 TWh, and less than 10 years for solar.
